Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. she is the current president and the controlling owner of Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. Buss is a native of California was raised with an affluent background. Jerry Buss is her father. He was an estate tycoon and later proprietor of Lakers and other enterprises. Their relationship ended in 1972 which made her feel emotionally left behind. In 1972, at age 19, she was employed within the family's company. Later, she founded the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She held the position of the president for Great Western Forum prior to becoming the vice-president of Lakers. Buss as well as her five sisters were heirs to the Lakers control following the death of Bussher father in 2013. Each sister had the same voice. She was named president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also a co-owner of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based at Los Angeles.
