Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian Actress best known for her role as the star of Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' que te are enamored. Also a dancer, she is also a model. Montreal born, she spent the first few years of her life in Texas. As a little girl she started to train in various forms of dance. At the age of 15 she began taking part in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she competed in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010 she played the receptionist for Telemundo television show Aurora. In 2015 she starred in her first feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
